Ninth place last year, 7th pick this year. The Rain City Bombers historically make a lot of moves — a lot — which is either Taylor’s strength (always watching, always optimizing) or his weakness (watching so much that the anxiety becomes its own strategy).

A bounce-back season is overdue. The talent is there on paper. The question is whether it translates to a consistent lineup or another year of strong individual weeks that somehow don’t add up to a strong season. That gap between potential and result is where most of this league’s heartbreak lives.

Taylor would tell you 2026 is different. He put the work in over the offseason. He did his research. He drafted smarter. Maybe. But ninth-to-first is a big ask. Ninth-to-fifth would already be a story worth telling.
