📚 Storylines to Watch

The Ragans Administration's run continues TylerV is now atop the standings (32-14-4), atop the cumulative power rankings, and just posted back-to-back 9-0 all-play weeks with 67 and 69 cat wins. The roster has no holes. Cal Raleigh is hitting 4 HR weeks at catcher. Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, Nick Kurtz, Kevin McGonigle, and now Ceddanne Rafaela all hit. The rotation runs six deep before Landen Roupp on the bench. Hey Holmes! is the kind of opponent that sometimes catches a hot team flat. The sim has Ragans at 60%. We will see if anything cools this team off.

Buckner has a chance to forget Week 5 ever happened The Buckner Boots went 0-9 all-play with 15 cat wins last week. The worst single-week performance any team has put up in 2026. Now they get Nick-fil-A. The sim still has Buckner at 75%, and the cat probabilities back it up. 9 of 10 categories lean Buckner. The roster (Tucker, Seager, Murakami, Marte, Bregman, Sale, Valdez, Webb) is still loaded. Mario can pile up SB and tries to close the HR gap, but Mason Miller and Helsley do not save you when the lineup is hitting .280 OBP and the rotation is below your opponent's.

Keanu vs Ete Crow is the only real coin flip Sim says Keanu 53%. Expected score 5.0-5.0. Most categories are sitting at 0.47-0.59 either way. Duke Joe just had his worst pitching week of the season (5.37 ERA) and Ete Crow's Nolan McLean is coming off 17 K. Keanu's edge is the bullpen depth (Chapman, Fairbanks) and balanced power. Ete's edge is the SB game (PCA, Marsee) and a deep rotation that includes McLean, Luzardo, Tolle, and Eury Pérez. Whichever lineup gets healthy first wins this matchup. Juan Soto has been on Keanu's bench with no counting stats for two weeks running.

The hidden-strength teams are still favored Allahu Alvarez is 17-29-4 in the standings but went 7-1-1 all-play last week with the most saves and a Christian Walker / Max Muncy power week. Busch Latte is 19-26-5 but led the league in SB and HR despite a 5.58 ERA. The sim has both teams favored this week. Allahu over Rain City at 69% on the strength of league-best closer depth (Muñoz, Domínguez, Varland, Pagán) facing a Rain City bullpen that has thrown for the wrong team for two months. Busch over OBT at 67%, with Rose's lineup grading out the strongest of any underperforming roster. Two teams whose true strength is not in their record.

Garth is coming off a sneaky 6-4 win over Ete Crow with Foster Griffin's waiver-add 7 IP shutout. The rotation depth (Skubal, Yamamoto, Sandy Alcantara, Eovaldi, Mize, Burns, Foster Griffin, Connelly Early) is still the deepest in the league with eight healthy SPs. Matt Olson and Riley Greene are the offensive engine. The sim sees the lineup as a notch below Busch's offensive ceiling, so OBT has to ride pitching ratios and bullpen here.

Rose has Spencer Strider, Hunter Brown, Bryce Miller, Tatsuya Imai, and Edwin Díaz all on the IL. Five rotation/bullpen pieces gone. The roster has filled in with Bubic, Misiorowski, Soriano, Ryan Weathers, and the Kyle Harrison waiver-add. Despite the IL, the sim has Busch at 67% on the strength of a top-3 offense in HR/R/SB and an OBP edge fueled by Seiya Suzuki, Jazz Chisholm, JJ Wetherholt, and Shohei Ohtani's bat side.

Prediction: Busch Latte 6-4. Sim says 67%. Rose's offense is too much for OBT's lineup to keep up with, and even with Busch's IL list the bats outweigh the bullpen advantage Garth has.

Ragans is the league's hottest team. Two straight 9-0 all-play weeks. The active rotation is six deep (Ragans, Ohtani, Schlittler, King, Keller, Castillo) with Roupp, McClanahan, and Woodruff on the bench as additional starting depth. Wyatt Langford on IL10 and Sonny Gray on IL15 are the only real injury hits. Cal Raleigh, Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, Nick Kurtz are putting up MVP-caliber lines together. There is no obvious weakness on this team right now.

Hey Holmes! just won 8-2 over Buckner but the all-play was 3-5-1, so the actual roster strength is still middle-tier. Mookie Betts (IL10), Eugenio Suárez (IL10), Ryan Pepiot (IL60) are all out. The active rotation has five healthy SPs (Vásquez, Cease, Warren, Gore, May) plus Garrett Crochet, Clay Holmes, Grant Holmes, and Kyle Bradish on the bench. SBs (Julio, Chandler Simpson) and the closer (Ryan Walker) are the cleanest edges Michael has against the Ragans juggernaut.

Mario won 6-3 last week off a 14 HR week (Caminero, Wood, Caglianone, Goodman). The rotation has zero active starters on Sunday but 8 healthy SPs on the bench (McGreevy, Detmers, Wrobleski, Robbie Ray, Bubba Chandler, Brady Singer, Bryan Woo, Davis Martin, Tyler Glasnow). Snell and Cole are IL15. The bullpen (Mason Miller, Ryan Helsley, Gus Varland) is elite. SB is the one category Mario projects to dominate, on the strength of Konnor Griffin, Acuña, and Luke Raley.

Buckner is coming off the worst week any team has had in 2026: 0-9 all-play, 15 cat wins. The roster is still loaded, though: Kyle Tucker, Corey Seager, Munetaka Murakami, Ketel Marte, Brandon Nimmo, Alex Bregman, plus Steven Kwan and the Jasson Domínguez add. The rotation has 8 healthy SPs available (Sale, Schultz, Cantillo, Bradley, Valdez, Webb, Trevor Rogers, plus active Hancock and Messick), with Devin Williams as the closer. The sim sees a heavy bounce-back and projects Buckner to win 9 of 10 categories.

Duke Joe just had his worst pitching week of the season (5.37 ERA, 1.39 WHIP). The rotation has six active SPs (Abbott, Williams, Rasmussen, Sánchez, Peralta, Fried), and Max Fried's 12 K, 0.00 ERA was the bright spot. The rest of the staff was a fire. The bullpen (Chapman, Fairbanks) is still league-best. Drake Baldwin's 2 HR, 8 R week was a return to form. Juan Soto on the bench with zero counting stats two weeks running is an obvious problem.

Jace lost 4-6 to OBT but his roster is genuinely strong now. Five active SPs (Ober, McLean, Luzardo, Boyd, Tolle) with Eury Pérez, Joe Ryan, Tyler Mahle, and Chase Dollander on the bench. Nine healthy SPs total. McLean's 17 K week was the league-best K total. Elly De La Cruz (3 HR, 8 RBI) and Vladimir Guerrero (1 HR, 4 RBI, 6 R) are putting up real lines. Pete Crow-Armstrong and Jakob Marsee give Ete the SB edge in this matchup.

Taylor finally got the offense to match the rotation last week (40 RBI, Michael Harris II 11 RBI) and won 7-3. The active rotation is four-deep (Skenes, deGrom, Lugo, Imanaga) with Zack Wheeler, Bryce Elder, and the Nick Martinez waiver-add on the bench. Lindor (IL10) and Yelich (IL10) are out. The rotation will lap most teams in K and QS. The sim has Rain City at 72% in K and 58% in QS. The lineup is still the soft spot and the closer situation is shaky against a Muñoz/Domínguez/Varland trio.

Allahu was 7-1-1 all-play last week despite a 2-7 H2H loss to Ragans. The lineup hits hard. Christian Walker (3 HR, .440 OBP), Max Muncy (3 HR, .583 OBP), Yordan Alvarez, Bobby Witt Jr., Ian Happ. Active rotation is just two SPs (Arrighetti, Ranger Suarez) with five healthy options on the bench (Gausman, Bibee, Soroka, Gilbert, plus Pivetta on IL15 and Steele on IL60). The bullpen is elite (Muñoz, Domínguez, Varland, Pagán). League-best save total last week.

Prediction: Allahu Alvarez 6-4. Sim has them at 69%. Rain City wins K, QS, and ratio cats but Allahu's offense and bullpen take the other six. Skenes and deGrom can only do so much when Manny Machado is the only bat going.

OBT vs Busch Busch 6–4 OBT 9–1 ✗ Badly missed
Sonny vs Hey Holmes! Sonny 6–4 Sonny 6–3 ✓ Exact
Nick-fil-A vs Buckner Buckner 6–4 4–4 tie ✗ Missed
Keanu vs Ete Crow Keanu 6–4 Ete Crow 8–2 ✗ Badly missed
Rain City vs Allahu Allahu 6–4 5–5 tie ✗ Missed

1–4 with the only correct call being Sonny over Hey Holmes! at 6–3. The two badly-missed picks were both straight inversions: the sim had Busch as a 73% favorite and OBT swept 9 of 10 cats, and the sim had Keanu as a 53% favorite over Ete Crow and Ete walked it 8–2. Two ties out of five was the bigger story. Nick-fil-A and Buckner split power vs. pitching down the middle, and Rain City vs. Allahu came down to a single category in either direction. Soft week for the model. Pitching variance ran the show.

🏆 Biggest Win
One Ball Two Strikes 9–1 over Busch Latte, with 8–1 all-play and 64 cat wins out of 87. Garth led the league in QS (7), tied for the league lead in HR (12), and posted a 1.20 WHIP. Busch took only ERA (2.39 vs 2.67), and that margin was paper-thin. OBT was the 27% underdog by the sim and instead delivered the only blowout of the week. Ete Crow’s 8–2 over Keanu was the louder upset on margin, but OBT’s coverage was wider: 9 categories taken, only one lost. Two straight weeks now where Garth has beaten a sim favorite.
💥 Choke of the Week
Busch Latte: 0–9 all-play, 23 cat wins out of 90, the only team to lose every category except one. Rose entered the week 7th in the standings and a sim favorite at 73%. The output was the worst all-play any team has posted since The Buckner Boots’ 0–9 the prior week. Two straight weeks where the team that was supposed to win the matchup ended up at the bottom of the all-play list. The .319 OBP was 7th. The 2 SB was 9th. The 7 HR with a heavy power lineup was 8th. The 2.39 ERA was the only thing that worked. When the league’s power-and-speed roster posts league-worst totals in HR and SB in the same week, it isn’t variance, it’s a missed week.
🏆 Category Leaders
R
Ete Crow (50)
Jace put up 50 runs against a Keanu staff that finished 5th in ERA and 8th in WHIP. The lineup that was supposed to play coin-flip baseball with Duke Joe outscored his by 16 in the runs column alone.
HR
Ete Crow (15)
Fifteen homers in a week. Three more than OBT, who tied for second. Vlad Jr., Ozzie Albies, and Kazuma Okamoto all chipped in around the edges. Eight weeks ago this lineup was punchless. Now it leads the league in two power categories in the same matchup.
RBI
Ete Crow (52)
Fifty-two RBI, 19 more than Sonny in second. When you score 50 runs and hit 15 homers, the RBI category follows. Jace’s lineup did the full power package this week.
SB
Keanu Reeves (7)
Duke Joe took the only category in his entire week. SB was his one win in a 2–8 loss. Six different teams were tied at five or six. Speed is shallower across the league than ever.
OBP
Ete Crow (.393)
A .393 team OBP behind Vlad Jr.’s patient bat and a fully healthy Ramón Laureano. Sonny was second at .364 and OBT third at .387. Jace topped both the league’s top OBP and HR rosters in the same week, which should be statistically illegal.
K
Ete Crow (74)
Jesús Luzardo headlined with double-digit strikeouts. Matthew Boyd added 5. Five different starters contributed. Ete swept the four batting counting cats AND topped K. There is no precedent for that this season.
ERA
Rain City Bombers (2.07)
Taylor’s rotation ran a 2.07 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP over the week. Skenes, deGrom, and the deep-rotation guys all held the line. Allahu took WHIP by 0.04. Otherwise this would have been a 7–3 win, not a 5–5 tie.
WHIP
Allahu Alvarez (0.96)
Sub-1.00 staff WHIP. TylerR’s only top-3 category of the week, and it was enough to drag Rain City into a tie. Logan Henderson’s 8-K, 0.50 WHIP outing was the spine of it.
QS
OBT & Rain City (7)
Tied for the league lead at 7. OBT did it on quantity of starts; Rain City did it on rate. The two teams that finished tied or ahead of expectation both used their rotations as the foundation.
SV
Nick-fil-A (4)
Mario tied with Allahu at four. Mason Miller and a Gus Varland pickup did the work. The save lead was the one place Nick-fil-A held an edge against Buckner’s dominant rotation.
🎯 Move of the Week

Jace Allison adding Chase Dollander on April 27, the morning of Week 6. Dollander joined a rotation that already had Luzardo and Boyd hot, and the Ete Crow staff went on to lead the league in K and finish second in QS. The lineup gets the credit for the 8–2 win because Jace put up 50 R, 15 HR, and 52 RBI. The pitching gets the credit for it not being closer. Honorable mention: Mickey Moniak added to It’s Always Sonny on April 24 (the week before) and immediately became a multi-HR weekly contributor in a roster that needed exactly that.

🔥 Week 6 All-Play Power Rankings
Rankings based on all-play record: how each team would have done against all 9 other opponents this week, not just the one they actually faced. 90 total category decisions per team.
Elite Tier
1
Ete Crow 61–23–6 cats 9–0 all-play W 8–2
61 cat wins, 9–0 all-play. Jace led the league in R (50), HR (15), RBI (52), OBP (.393), and K (74). Five categories ahead of every other team in the league. The team that was a coin-flip with Keanu by sim turned into the most complete single-week roster of the season.
2
One Ball Two Strikes 64–23–3 cats 8–1 all-play W 9–1
64 cat wins, 8–1 all-play. Garth’s 9–1 over Busch was the most dominant H2H of the week. Tied for the league lead in QS (7) and HR (12), 1.20 WHIP, 2 SV. The 73% sim favorite was Busch and OBT just beat them 9–1. Two straight weeks of upsetting the sim leader. The script-flipping is not a fluke.
Contenders
3
It’s Always Sonny 45–37–8 cats 7–2 all-play W 6–3
45 cat wins, 7–2 all-play. TylerV swept the five batting cats and added K. The pitching gave back ERA, WHIP, and QS, which is why the sim’s 6–4 call hit on the nose. The Ragans-rebranded-as-Sonny streak is now three straight weeks atop the H2H standings. The cumulative #1 spot held by a hair.
4
Allahu Alvarez 44–42–4 cats 3–3–3 all-play T 5–5
44 cat wins, 3–3–3 all-play. League-best WHIP (0.96) and 4 SV. The lineup put up 36 R and a .367 OBP. Skenes and the rotation held Rain City to a tie that should have been a win. Three ties on the all-play split shows just how thin the middle tier has become.
5
Rain City Bombers 42–41–7 cats 3–3–3 all-play T 5–5
42 cat wins, 3–3–3 all-play. League-best ERA (2.07) and a tied QS lead at 7. The Skenes/deGrom rotation finally got the rate stats to back up the K total. The bats stayed quiet at 22 R. Tie was the right outcome.
6
Keanu Reeves 41–44–5 cats 3–3–3 all-play L 2–8
41 cat wins, 3–3–3 all-play, and a 2–8 H2H loss. Duke Joe led the league in SB (7) and won ERA. That was it. The lineup’s 13 HR was second only to Ete Crow, but his 34 R / 33 RBI couldn’t hang. The all-play says Keanu played a 6–4-ish week. The actual matchup said he played his worst week of the season.
Middle of the Pack
7
Hey Holmes! 40–41–9 cats 3–4–2 all-play L 3–6
40 cat wins, 3–4–2 all-play. Michael’s pitching cats (ERA 3.86, WHIP 1.25, 5 QS) were strong; the lineup wasn’t. 34 R and 9 HR is competitive, but Sonny’s lineup is on a different level right now. Bottom half on the all-play, top-3 in three pitching categories, lost 6–3 anyway.
8
The Buckner Boots 35–48–7 cats 1–6–2 all-play T 4–4
35 cat wins, 1–6–2 all-play. The pitching showed back up at 2.11 ERA and 1.01 WHIP, with 6 QS and 72 K. That should have been a win on the rate stats alone. The lineup was the problem: 6 HR, 25 RBI, .313 OBP. Two straight weeks in the bottom half of the all-play after a five-week run in the top 2.
Cellar Dwellers
9
Nick-fil-A 24–56–10 cats 1–7–1 all-play T 4–4
24 cat wins, 1–7–1 all-play. Mario led the league in SV (4) and kept the tie line on the pitching side, but the power lineup that drove Week 5 cratered: 6 HR, 25 RBI, just .341 OBP. Two cats tied (HR, RBI) cost a should-be win on the H2H. The all-play says he’d have lost to seven other teams. The drop from #5 cumulative to here is real.
10
Busch Latte 23–64–3 cats 0–9 all-play L 1–9
23 cat wins, 0–9 all-play. The second 0–9 all-play in two weeks (Buckner did it in Week 5). Rose was a 73% sim favorite and lost 9–1. 7 HR, 2 SB from a power-and-speed lineup, .319 OBP, and only ERA (2.39) showed up. When the matchup the sim gave you turns into a 9–1 beating, the call wasn’t wrong about your roster, it was wrong about your week.
